Kelley & Mark
TESTIMONIAL (A Brides Tale): To the next bride and groom, Firstly congratulations! If your day is anything like mine, it will be brilliant! I had not planned to have a photographer as, having worked in the industry, I knew I did not want an amateur acting as a professional. So I decided the amateurs in my family would be fine, as at least I wouldn’t have too high an expectation from them. That is, until I saw an album of Peters work! I contacted Peter via e-mail and spoke to Di, Peter's wife. Di was really nice and easy to talk to, and arranged everything for me as I only had 18 guests so did not want a million photos, only a few great ones. My day started with my mum and I getting ready before Peter arrived. I had not met Peter in person, but my soon to be husband had while working in the Hunter and said, “You would love him.” (Ladies you know what I was thinking when he said that…We’ll see!) From the first moment I new it would all be ok! I am no fashion model, but Peter made me completely at ease. I could tell by the way he was looking at all the angles around the room and started to position me and mum that this was a true professional, so I relaxed and just did what he asked as “why interrupt an artist at work???” I was due to get married at 5pm, however my sister called to say she was about ½ hour late. She was chauffeur to my father, brother in-law and nephew so no chance of starting without them as I only had 18 guests attending. Peter’s instincts that I was starting to tense up and get distressed about the fact that we would now lose light for the photos after the ceremony where spot on. Peter came over to me and held my hand and said “don’t worry about anything, these things happen and I am with you till the end and we will get plenty of beautiful photos and have plenty of light”. Well I could have just hugged him and instantly relaxed again. The rest of the day went like clockwork and my 18 guests also felt very comfortable with Peter. In a small group this is crucial. Peter also remembered that I had said two relatives did not get on so made sure they did not get put together for photos. I actually thought he had left about 3 times that night but turned to see he was still taking photos from the background and this really impressed me. The photo he took of my husband in this time in the natural candlelight is one of my favourites. Sincerely I cannot recommend Peter enough to you he has a true eye for craftsmanship and will make your images look amazing. You only have to see mine, but more importantly his personality just makes it easy. Lastly the professionalism did not stop on the day but I will let you see for yourself what I mean by this. Thank you Peter, you really made my day perfect and the staff at Natural Lightscapes put the icing on the cake (pardon the pun) for this I will be eternally grateful and I can not recommend you all enough. Kind regards The Newly married…Kelley
